More than 3,100 people attended events and over 5,000 feedback forms have been received during our final route-wide consultation.

The consultation, which ran between 14 April and 9 June 2026, gave people the opportunity to learn more about our updated proposals for the railway connecting Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge, and provide feedback on the latest designs.

Across 16 in-person and online events, people were able to talk to members of our team, view updated designs and route section animations, and ask questions about our latest proposals for the project.

We really value the time and thought people have put into their feedback to help shape the future of East West Rail.”
