East West Rail is a once in a generation opportunity to connect people and businesses between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. It will ease congestion on local roads, cut travel times and open up new journeys, unlocking economic growth in the region that will bring benefits to the whole of the country.
In the coming weeks and months, we will continue to engage locally to ensure that we are working closely together with communities to deliver a railway that meets local needs and improves daily lives, in line with the Government’s plans.
