The entire team is focused on bringing the next stage of plans forward for statutory public consultation – the first stage of which we expect to launch in June of this year. From this week, we are continuing our land referencing activity, working to identify landowners with an interest and/or rights over land and property that may potentially be affected by the Project by issuing Land Interest Questionnaires (LIQ).
The LIQ will gather up-to-date ownership information for land that may be required for the Project, such as for construction, as well as land that may be impacted by the operation of the railway, such as noise. It is important to note that landowners receiving this letter does not necessarily indicate we will need to acquire or use their land. Updated proposals will be shared in our statutory consultation.
