You will be aware that a Red Extreme heat warning has been issued by the Met Office ahead of expected 40 degree temperatures on Monday & Tuesday this week in Cambridgeshire.
Given the potential risk the extreme heat poses to staff and guests, the EWR drop-in information event scheduled in Haslingfield for Tuesday 19th July will be postponed. We do not have a firm date yet and are talking to the venue and with our team. However, we are aiming for a date in the week of the 25th, with our current preference being Friday the 29th. I will keep you updated and circulate a confirmed date as soon as I have it.
We are aware that there has been significant interest in this event, so it’s important that it can be held safely while remaining accessible to all members of the community – our primary responsibility must be toward the safety of everyone attending.
