Creating clarity for communities - our response to the ICO's recent ruling

We recognise the ICO has agreed with our view that the second and third request referenced are exempted under Regulation 12(4)(b) of the EIR.

We are considering their ruling that we did not demonstrate the first request could rely on this exception and reviewing our approach to publication generally in light of the decision.

In parallel to this, we will clearly set out our approach to information publication at each point in the development of the railway. We are committed to being straight-forward and honest with the communities we serve.
