Join us for a week’s virtual work experience and get involved in one of the UK’s most important infrastructure project. Help us design this new direct rail connection linking the communities between Oxford and Cambridge that are well-known for their vibrant economy, educational excellence and scientific innovation.
If you are interested in Technology, Engineering, Planning, Business Studies, Design and/or Customer Services this is the work experience for you.
You will be given an insight into how a large infrastructure project works and the variety of roles that make up the industry. You will work virtually in small teams with other students and will be supported as you gain experience of our core business functions including Engineering, Programme Controls, Delivery, Strategy, Customer Services, Communications and Human Resources.
Who can apply?
We are looking for students from all backgrounds and support applications from all geographical areas, in particular we are looking for students from across the Oxford to Cambridge corridor.
Minimum age: 16 years
Duration: 5 days

Work experience opportunities are open to students at schools who are registered with the Speakers for Schools charity. If you’d like to express your interest in our work experience programme, please get in touch with your school to check whether they are registered.
